Katrineholm is a small, modern Swedish town with a population of approximately 21 000 people. Sometimes (though not completely accurately) considered a Stockholm suburb, it is growing rather rapidly with new shopping areas and roads. Since long, it has been an important railway junction, and by train it is only some hour away from Stockholm and Linköping.
